Lab Tech I

This position performs environmental monitoring of clean rooms and personnel gown and glove monitoring, compressed gases and clean steam testing, collection of water samples, media and reagent preparation, and operation of the autoclave.

Responsibilities:

* Perform the monitoring of the classified areas and support facilities during and after production or during recertification.
* Perform personnel gown certification / recertification. Maintain records and provide gown certification document to relevant departments
* Collect samples of the water systems for testing and perform the bulk and water bioburden testing.
* Perform testing of compressed gases and clean steam systems.
* Operate the autoclave as required.
* Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
* Other duties, as assigned, or as business needs require.

Primary Outcomes
Provide environmental profile of clean rooms during production runs and data to generate environmental trends of clean rooms.
Ensure all utility systems are tested per procedure.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
* Education Required: High School diploma
* Education Preferred: AA degree/ course work in college Microbiology/related sciences
* Experience Required: 6 months to one year experience in the aseptic processing or related industry.
* Experience Preferred: Some experience in aseptic techniques
