Lab Processor

Department: LaboratorySchedule: Full-timeShift: Evening shiftJob Details: High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Previous Laboratory experience is preferred. - Must have excellent customer service skills.The lab processor is responsible for performing order entry on outreach specimens, centrifuging or other processing of specimens and proper storage of specimens. The processors also order, prepare and ship specimens (certified for US gov't shipping regulations) to reference labs further testing. This person fields many phone calls from clients regarding specimen requirements. This is very busy position and is essential to accommodating our outreach lab work from physicians offices. The processing person also works closely with phlebotomists to assist with stat specimen flow (ER).
