Current RN License or degree in Microbiology
CIC or related certification preferred
Baccalaureate degree (preferred but not required) from an accredited School of Nursing.
Additional educational preparation in the area of Epidemiology desirable.
Clinical experience that has provided opportunities to refine competencies in clinical practice and the application of administrative principles.
A minimum of four years acute care clinical experience in which one has been in Infection control
General knowledge of instructional skills work simplification methods, skill analysis and group dynamics.
