Job Title: IT – Business Applications Developer – SAP

Job Description:
• 80 %: SAP Development: using APAB – program scripting and iDOC - data transfer language
• 20% Interface with others: Interface with internal customers, configurators, etc.

The Business Applications Developer (SAP IT Development Interfaces) will design, construct, document, test and maintain application, data warehouse, reporting, portal and interface solutions for the site.

Solution focus may include business systems, laboratory automation, manufacturing execution systems and process automation systems.

The Developer will contribute to the mission of the Business Applications team which is to develop and maintain business process automation and data integration solutions.

Key responsibilities include: realizing site-wide strategies for security, application integration and business data relationships, implementing commercially available IT technologies or designing custom solutions to satisfy business automation needs.

Building and maintaining standard business application configurations (e.g. SAP, Warehouse Mgt, Quality Mgt, etc), application interfaces and data warehouse, portal and data reporting needs.

Maintaining all necessary lifecycle processes to ensure ongoing system viability, sustainability, availability and regulatory compliance and supporting business application related problem analysis and resolution activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate Must Have:

• BS in Computer Engineering/science or computer engineering.
• 4 + years of experience of IT systems in manufacturing applications.
• 2 + years developing applications and interfaces using Java, .NET, HTML / ASP / XML and Sequel Server, Oracle.
• 1 + years SAP development experience using ABAP and /or iDOC, tools for modules like PM – Plant maintenance, PP – Production Planning, WM – warehouse Mgmt, MM – Materials Mgmt.
• Excellent people, project and communication skills
• Ability to work in a matrix team, with corporate, project mgmt, business groups, vendors etc.

Nice to have:

• Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry experience.
• Experience with document, learning, quality and laboratory management systems and with manufacturing control and execution systems.
• Superb knowledge of relational database architectures, query languages, interfaces, data warehouse concepts, service oriented architecture concepts, portals, reporting tools and standard programming environments.
• Strong technical documentation, problem solving and analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft office and project management tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
• IT Project management experience with complex systems.

Compensation: Salary of $80K - $100K + 10 % Target Bonus
