Human Subjects Protection Scientist

AMDEX Corporation is currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented human subjects research professional. The Human Subjects Protection Scientist will assist in ensuring military institutions or organizations that are conducting and/or sponsoring research are in compliance with all federal and DoD human subjects protection regulatory requirements.

Successful candidate will develop new and update existing regulations, policies, and guidelines for human subject protections research. Other duties include, but are not limited to: developing and implementing policies and procedures to achieve and maintain regulations compliance; advising investigators, research managers, IRB members and other regulatory staff on implementing human subjects protections compliance policies and procedures; providing assistance to customers seeking to bring non-compliant human subjects protection programs into compliance; reporting on periodic compliance inspections; planning, preparing and facilitating meetings; and developing and conducting education/training programs. Some local and long distance travel is required.

REQUIREMENTS
*PhD in bio-medical field (Masters Degree w/extensive post-Masters education and training related to Human Subjects may be considered)
*Extensive experience in human subjects protection.
*Extensive experience in the application of CFRs, FDA and other federal human subjects protection regulatory requirements.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Excellent organizational skills
*Ability to multi-task is a plus
*Prior military experience or work in a military environment is a plus
*Secret clearance
