Histotechnologist

Currently, one of our clients in the KOP, PA area is seeking two (2) Histotechnologists to join their team immediately for exciting 12 month assignments.

This position is 35/hrs per week

Candidates will be responsible for all aspects of histology-related work on a study team and must ensure that Standard Operating Procedures and GLPs are followed in all laboratory functions. Candidates will perform necropsy, trimming, embedding, staining etc, all under GLP guidelines. This individual is expected to keep informed of advances in histotechnology, and develop and introduces new techniques to improve capacity and efficiency of the histology lab.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have experience performing basic histology techniques under GLP guidelines. ASCP certification highly proffered.
