HR Representative
Santa Ana, California
Provides generalist support in heart valves manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for communication and administration of HR policies and procedures and will have knowledge of state and federal regulations. He or she will provide counseling and guidance to managers and employees, administer Worker’s Compensation and leave of absences and make recommendations on compensation programs. He/She will assist with general benefits and payroll questions.
Responsibilities: * Recruitment & Staffing
Coordinate recruitment activity with hiring managers, including selection of candidates, staying abreast of hiring trends and on-boarding new employees.
* Employee Relations
Respond to and counsel employees and managers on policies. Conduct investigations. Facilitate resolution to employee issues.
* Compensation and benefits programs
Provide support to employees and administer leave of absences and worker's compensation. Evaluate compensation structure for compliance and competitiveness.
* Training and employee development
Assess and identify group and/or individual development needs. Assist with peformance development of individuals and the performance evaluation process.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business or HR related field.
* 7 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or medical device industry.
* Proven interpersonal and relationship building; ability to meet deadlines; excellent verbal, written, and language skills; high level of motivation; and strong organizational skills.
* Experience with HR databases (ie Peoplesoft) and excellent pc skills.
