Food Application Scientist

We are seeking a strong, senior-level scientist with food application's experience to act as the Principal Scientist for our client. This position will have regular interaction with many internal departments as well as external customers, providing technical support for both current and future products.Qualified candidates will need a strong understanding of commercial production scale-up procedures as well as food process engineering. Also, work with team members planning, executing, and pilot plant set-up for food product applications.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
*An MS degree in food science or food technology with 7-12 years of industry experience
OR
*A PhD degree in food science for food technology with 4-7 years of industry experience.*Food production/engineering experience*Work well both in teams and individually*Food plant layout a plus*Excellent communications skills with written and orally*Strong PC Skills
