Field Applications Scientist

The Role:

We are looking for a scientist with strong interpersonal skills and solid experience with imaging systems to provide applications support and training to our customers and sales team. Customer contact will be via phone, email, WebEx and/or formal training programs, so the ability to effectively communicate with researchers through these channels to help them fully utilize the software/hardware capabilities of our Imaging Series products is a key to success in this role. The understanding of real-world customer needs gained in this role will be an important source of feedback for our new product development teams.
REQUIREMENTS
An advanced degree in Life Sciences, or equivalent, with an emphasis in Biology preferred.

2 – 3 years hands-on experience with microscopy and imaging preferred.

Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and presentation skills required.

Ability to travel overnight 25%
