To contribute to excellent care for our people through providing expertise and leadership for Barnes-Jewish Hospital ethics processes and contributions. To guide and support the personal/professional ethics resources of BJH. To insure BJH ethics services and resources are informed, effective, integrated, proactive, and strategic in the ethical complexities throughout BJH and our communities.Principal Accountabilities and Job Duties:
Demonstrates Expertise Integrates healthcare ethics into the curricula and educational opportunities throughout BJH. Demonstrates Job Knowledge Ensures Safety Drives Service Excellence Provides leadership, education and consultation for the BJH Ethics Committee, its Subcommittees and membership. Serves as a liaison with the greater St. Louis area, regional and national health care ethics communities. Puts Customer First Communicates Effectively Values Diversity and Teamwork Gets Business Results Integrates healthcare ethics throughout BJH clinical and administrative processes. Promotes Continuous Improvement Works to Reduce Costs Organizes and Maintains Records Takes Accountability Adapts to Change Takes Responsibility for Learning Personal Accountability
