Continuous Improvement Manager – Laboratory Focus
Responsible for leading the effort for optimization of work processes to affect efficiency and compliance within a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory. Leverage available resources, systems, and equipment to implement measurable and sustainable improvements to laboratory work systems. Identify untapped capability of software and equipment and implement improvements to streamline work steps. Provide oversight and ownership to laboratory systems such as equipment IQ/OQ, maintenance, calibration, utilization; sample work flow; facility improvement; and training. Reports to Site Laboratory Management.

Environmental Manager
The Environmental Manager will manage an organization that will provide on-going environmental compliance excellence in two facilities located approximately 4 miles apart. The manager will insure that operating procedures are in place to meet all environmental compliance requirements, report operating results, manage compliance with operating permits and manage the plant’s chemical and water quality control requirements. The Environmental Manager will oversee a staff of water/wastewater and environmental technicians.
Core responsibilities will include:
ØHazardous waste management operations (RCRA)
ØChemical inventories and releases (SARA & CERCLA)
ØWastewater discharge (SPDES)
ØPetroleum bulk storage (PBS)
ØHazardous materials transportation (DOT)
ØSusquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC)
ØFacility air emissions (CAA)
ØPotable water quality (NYSDOH)
ØMaintain Integrated Contingency Plan, Spill Prevention Countermeasures and Control Plan (SPCC)

Maintenance Manager
This position requires strong leadership, initiative, and follow-thru capabilities. The employee in this role must be able to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environment. The chosen candidate must have outstanding problem-solving abilities, excellent system development/implementation skills, as well as solid communication capabilities. Candidate must be comfortable with hands on management of a multi-skilled technical workforce.
A working knowledge of computerized maintenance systems is required. As well as experience in the use of KPIs, MCRS systems, and other productivity measures. Must have a strong technical knowledge of maintenance programs, particularly as they relate to a cGMP manufacturing environment. Should be able to develop, present and implement ideas that foster the development of individual and teams of employees.
