Due to successful growth, we are currently looking to add an Environmental Compliance Representative to our staff. Essential Job Description:
Lead, guide, and direct our railroad service companies in hazardous materials incident management and environmental compliance
While specializing in hazmat derailments and various environmental issues, responsibilities will also include safety and training activities throughout the organization
Based in Nicholasville, Kentucky and reporting to the corporate Manager for Safety, this employee will travel extensively to RJC locations and will guide the implementation of hazardous material, safety, and environmental programs for construction, derailment, railroad, material sales and distribution businesses

REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should possess 5+ years of hazardous materials management and/or environmental manager type experience including work with environmental monitoring equipment and hazmat gear
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation or the ability to obtain CIH in a short period of time is preferred
