CH2MHILL's Northeast Region is looking for a talented junior level Biologist/Ecologist to join our Environmental Business Group. This position will focus on supporting Ecological Risk Assessment projects and a broader range of ecologically-oriented projects in our growing ecosystems practice. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, responsibilities are likely to include the characterization and evaluation of terrestrial, wetland, and aquatic habitats, the evaluation and interpretation of biological and chemical/toxicological data, the development and preparation of technical reports, and the development of ecological sampling, restoration, and monitoring plans. In addition to a strong technical background, the successful candidate will be a team player, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and will be expected contribute to the development of positive client relationships.

job Requirements


Basic Qualifications :
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Biology or Environmental Science, with coursework or applied experience in environmental science and ecotoxicology.

Preferred Qualifications :
Preferred candidates will have a Masters Degree in Biology or Environmental Science and 3 years of professional experience in applied biology with direct experience in ecological risk assessment as it relates to CERCLA and RCRA. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong computer skills with MS office, particularly in the use of database programs, are essential. Experience in environmental consulting considered a plus.
