Distribution Associate (139325-551)

Job Description


Reporting directly to the Manager of Distribution, the Distribution Associate will be responsible for matching customer orders with products from inventory for shipment.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Pulling, packing and scanning orders for both internal and eternal customers.

Processing and documenting returned goods or purchase order receipts.

Transport and document manufactured product to proper storage temperatures.

Completes documents and transactions associated with internal and external orders and purchase order receipts.

Responsible for creating and completing daily inventory status reports.

Completes customer-specific tasks and procedures as required.

Operates material handling equipment (certification required within 90 days of employment).

Completes internal and external mail deliveries.

Notifies manager of inventory discrepancies.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must be able to operate PC scanners and computers.

1 – 2 years experience preferred.

Experience with handling and packaging of biological materials preferred.

Valid driver’s license required.

Written and oral communication skills to include accurate and legible documentation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, team oriented, independent work skills and a strong work ethic.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

The ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional overtime is required.

Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and handle products stored in walk-in refrigerators and freezers as well as ambient areas.

Must be able to operate electric reach truck/forklifts and pallet jacks (certification required within 90 days of employment).
