Director, Reporting and Accounting needed for a pharmaceutical company located in the Princeton, NJ area. This position will be responsible for the worldwide external financial reporting requirements set forth by the SEC. This includes the preparation and filing of form 20-F with the SEC, in particular the F-pages (consolidated financial statements) the MD&A as well as the preparation and filing of the IFRS/ IAS statements with the FSE. Incumbent will be planning, directing and coordinating all accounting functions, managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results, ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data, coordinate and preparing internal and external financial statements, coordinate activities of external auditors especially the quarterly reviews and the annual audits, assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes and policies, evaluate accounting and internal control systems and maintaining adherence to Internal Controls, manage the regulatory reporting duties of the company, act as a liaison between the company, government and external auditors providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained for historical purposes and hiring, training and retaining competent accounting staff.Looking for a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in managing an accounting function including several years of experience in a senior position in public accounting. Must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills. Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS as well as the SEC regulations and Experience with EITF 00-21, FAS 109, FAS 115, FAS 141, FAS 142, FAS 144, FAS 123R.
