Contract Clinical Research Associate

The clinical division of MedFocus is currently in need of a Contract Clinical Research Associate, to work for an established pharmaceutical company in Orlando, FL. This is a contract opportunity, with an expected contract length of at least 6 months.

Duties:
The successful candidate will screen and recommend investigators, attend investigators meetings, conduct trial initiation, perform on-site monitoring, perform clinical closeouts and participate in field monitoring training. This position requires 25-50% overnight travel, and the successful candidate must have a home-based office and live near the sites to monitor.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in either Nursing or the Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, etc.)
1-3 years of clinical trials field monitoring experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
Candidates must have regional monitoring experience
No specific therapeutic area is required
Must have home based office

Candidates need to be local to the Orlando area
Academic Experience is NOT a Substitute for Industry Experience
