Chemist I-Biotech

Local scientific company in Baltimore, MD is currently seeking an entry-level Chemist. The responsibilities for this position will include sample analysis and preparation, wet chemistry techniques, chemical testing, pH testing, using various laboratory equipment including balance and pH meter, and documentation. The position is a day shift or afternoon shift, contract-to-hire with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidate. This position may require weekend work when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of Associates degree in Chemistry or scientific related field with completed chemistry labs and 1 year related lab experience, or Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2 months laboratory experience in an industry-level laboratory.
GMP and/or GLP experience preferred.
Must be flexible to work independently as well as with a group.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
A positive, can-do attitude and must be a team player!
