LORILLARD, a leading cigarette manufacturer, is currently seeking an individual for its Analytical Chemistry Section at its Greensboro, NC Research Center.

CHEMIST/ANALYTICAL CHEMIST

Responsibilities including applying analytical instrumentation and/or performing scientific research to solve appropriate business-related problems. The selected candidate will plan/execute laboratory or operations-based technical assignments and provide current knowledge to discover new applications of scientific expertise that are of company-wide importance.

Master's degree in Science with 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in Science with up to 4 years of relevant experience required. Must have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks independently. This position requires competent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and applicable software; and effective interpersonal skills. Job title and salary will be commensurate with experience.
