Black Belt
Minneapolis, MinnesotaThe Black Belt will be trained in the complete methodologies of Lean-Sigma and will advocate and enable the tools and methodologies to drive Medtronic Cardiac Surgery process improvements in Sales/Marketing, Product Development, Human Resources, Legal, Supply Chain and Operations.
Responsibilities: • Assist in the identification of appropriate projects and improvement methodologies.• Advocate and influence appropriate change across Medtronic Cardiac Surgery.• Enable Business Excellence efforts to be felt by both Medtronic Cardiac Surgery employees and our customers.• Lead Lean-Sigma projects across Medtronic Cardiac Surgery.• Passionately drive Lean-Sigma visibility and awareness across Medtronic Cardiac Surgery.• Use data based decisions to influence others.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: •Bachelor’s degree.
•PowerPoint, Excel and other PC tools proficiency.
•Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to interface and influence at all organizational levels.•Ability to simply convey and communicate complicated concepts.•Change management capability and experience.•Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Lean Certification.•Experience in new product development and/or Design for Six Sigma.•Experience in the medical device industry.
