Animal Care Technicians needed!

Animal care technicians needed for AAALAC accredited research facility in RTP. First shift. Temp position with possible hire at end of 6 month contract.

Duties for the position will include:
Wash and sanitize caging, accessories, and animal care equipment
Move soiled equipment from hallways to the return cage wash area
Maintain cage wash rooms and associated machines
Receive and distribute equipment and supplies
Autoclave bedding and other supplies
Maintain sanitation and sterilization records
Clean and sanitize hallways
Set-up cages and racks for the animal care technicians

Work in a Good Laboratory Practices environment

This individual must be a high school graduate (or GED). Some
experience and certification as an AALAS Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT)is desirable but not necessary.
