Analytical Chemist

Currently, one of our clients in KOP, PA is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their team immediately. This is a 6 month assignment.This position is 35/hrs per week.This candidate will be responsible for the HPLC fractionation or isolation of metabolites from biological matrices and attendant sample preparation. Additional responsibilities will include scheduling and execution of experiments to meet study deadlines, in concert with other colleagues in support of metabolite identification, maintenance of HPLC systems and ancillary equipment. Additional responsibilities in MS or NMR will be dependent upon experience.

REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
BS or BA in Chemistry with 2 to 5 years experience in an analytical laboratory. Direct experimental experience with HPLC required, included preparative scale separations/isolations and methods development. Experience with Agilent 1100 and 1200 series HPLC systems is desired. Experience in LC/MS or NMR desired but not required.
