Our client, a leading biotech firm in the Boston area, is currently seeking to hire a Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager on a contract basis.

Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for:
Managing corporate accounting and financial reporting functions.
Managing consolidation and financial reporting.
Budgeting and forecasting of the G&A departments.
Managing forecast precess, coordination of external audit preparation, SOX 404 compliance work, and SEC for 10-Q and 10_K preparation.
Reviewing contract folders for proper revenue recognition, managing revenue recognition process for both actual and forecast, administering process of revenue file review all the way though external auditors.
REQUIREMENTS
BA degree.
GAAP, SEC reporting.
General ledger systems.
Consolidation of foreign entities.
SOX 404.
Strong Excel, various other computer programs.
Detail-oriented.
