Wire Transfer System Specialist

Coordinates and conducts the Bank’s Wire Transfer and Web Cash Manager systems through upgrades and enhancements. Responsible for monitoring and reporting Wire Transfer system problems. Responsible for training Wire Transfer staff and updating all internal procedures pertaining to the two systems.Designs all test criteria for the Bank’s Wire Transfer and Web Cash Manager systems. Writes test scripts for specific system performances and interfaces.Inputs test transactions, evaluates test results, and review reports.Prepares documentation to identify specific areas where further review/testing is needed. Communicates with appropriate parties regarding further needed changes.Serves as liaison with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta to coordinate testing dates, and distributes necessary operating information to the Wire Transfer staff.Serves as liaison with the Information Technology division to coordinate testing times and dates, and to set system operating parameters during scheduled tests.Assists with all Bank and Federal Reserve Bank testing (business continuity, bilateral, disaster recovery and Fed contingency).Updates all written Wire Transfer department procedures pertaining to system upgrades and enhancements. Trains Wire Transfer department employees through group meetings and one-on-one interactions
Assists with risk assessment of the Wire Transfer and Web Cash Manager systems.Serves as backup for the Wire Transfer Representative I and Wire Transfer Representative II positions.Maintains and reports problems for system and printers.Maintain all responsibility for the department website on BankNet and external sites.
REQUIREMENTS
Two years of technical/college education, three years of personal computer operating systems experience, and three to four years wire transfer and Intranet Money Transfer system experience preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
Strong analytical and technical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Ability to work independently by demonstrating strong initiatives and execution skills.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
