General Summary:

Responsible for the development of mortgage loan origination in a designated territory. Responsible for recruitment, training, retention and management of wholesale sales staff. Build and maintain necessary broker relationships.

Essential Duties:


Create and implement strategy to accomplish stated business objectives

Determine and establish appropriate controls needed to increase income and volume

Select, train and develop high quality staff

Accompany sales staff on field calls to monitor and coach performance

Perform regular performance reviews for direct reports including the progress and development of their position

Complete management reports as determined by senior management on time

Maintain broker database management

Establish effective broker relationships

Through internal and external contacts, market feedback and relay input and suggestions for improvement to senior leadership

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


5-7 years of progressively responsible positions in sales and mortgage origination.

Minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience.

Demonstrated training and leadership abilities.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Exceptional sales and marketing skills.

Ability to manage a decentralized sales force.

Ability to work in fast paced, deadline and goal driven environment.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Strong training and development skills.
