Team: NCBDC Corporate

Nature & Scope: Leads the NCB Financial Group in the formation and execution of its Mission Banking program and initiatives through the overall coordination and orchestration of business activities among all of the NCB departments, subsidiaries and affiliates. Such Mission Banking activity will include policy development, technical assistance, development and lending activities directed at low income communities, the cooperative sector and all CRA-related business activity.

Responsibilities Include: 1. Leads in initiating and managing the ongoing, corporate-wide process, of annually identifying Mission Banking objectives and initiatives across the organization, preparing an annual plan for those activities, and leading in the monitoring and making of ongoing adjustment to that plan. Also leads in the same process in the preparation of a three-year strategic plan and in the annual updates as described above. Works closely with all department heads across the NCB Financial Group in plan creation and monitoring, and collaborates closely with and receives support from the NCB Development Corporation Directors of Communications, Policy Development and Strategic Planning in carrying out the process. 30%

2. Leads as an internal champion or co-champion for the development of new initiatives, within both the NCB and NCB Development Corporation innovation processes. 30%

3. Leads as an external spokesperson in publicly promoting NCB's Mission Banking program and outcomes and establishes new relationships with Mission Banking constituents and partners. 15%

4. Leads in the formation and execution of a communication strategy that promotes NCB's Mission Banking activities and leverages all Mission Banking outcomes across the Financial Group for the benefit of the NCB brand. 5%

5. Serves as the board liaison to the NCB Mission Banking/Low Income Committee. 5%

6. Leads in establishing and managing a corporate-wide Mission Banking measurement and evaluation system that organizes and coordinates the delivery of all Mission Banking impact data, including low income, cooperative development and CRA results. 5%

7. Provides direct supervision as required for employees assigned to the Mission Banking program. Currently the supervision responsibility is two positions. 10%
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree and post graduate degree or relevant certifications or completion of industry relevant training programs in business or finance. The candidate should also possess a minimum of ten years lending experience; seven years of progressively responsible management experience; understanding or experience with all or some of NCB and NCB DC markets; ability to manage communications, planning and decision-making functions; personal track record of innovative behavior and results; strong interpersonal skill for optimum collaboration across multi-faceted business organization.
