Position Summary

Michigan First Credit Union, located in the metropolitan Detroit, Michigan area, is seeking a Vice President – Electronic Services to drive and enhance their remote delivery channels. This individual will be charged with evaluating the memberships’ needs and researching and implementing technologies that will enhance service levels. Successful candidate will be member/customer service oriented, work closely with marketing to promote remote channels, and have a keen analytical ability to measure results and member receptiveness to new and existing electronic services.


Credit Union Profile

Michigan First Credit Union (formerly Detroit Teachers Credit Union) was chartered in April of 1926 to serve members of the Detroit Board of Education. Now serving approximately 71,000 members and exceeding $415 million in assets, we have several 24/7 service outlets including 13 ATMs, 6 automated MoneyWorks Banking Centers, MoneyWorks Online Banking and Bill Pay, and loan application both online and by phone. Our field of membership includes more than 55 different organizations as well as the students, alumni and staff of many educational organizations in the Detroit Metropolitan area and their families. We have recently relocated to a newly constructed 60,000 square feet beautiful facility, giving us plenty of room for anticipated growth. This facility will also empower the credit union in achieving the goal to become an employer of choice in the Detroit Metropolitan area. We are also in the process of obtaining a community charter, which will expand our potential membership to 800,000.

Compensation
An exceptional compensation package will be offered to match the unique qualities required of this position.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will have five plus years of experience managing electronic and online services, possess innovative creativity, and have a proven ability to technologically position an organization for success. Bachelor’s degree required.
