VP - Senior Sales/Relationship Manager
Our client is one of the oldest financial institutions in North America (est. 1817), with assets of $250 billion. VP - Senior Sales/Relationship Manager Location: ideally based in Chicago may work remotely in NYC, Houston or San Fran Compensation: depending upon experience, a highly competitive combination of salary (90k-102k) + annual bonus incentive = low six-figures, + comprehensive benefits package includes 22 days vacation, 401k match, employee stock discount purchase program and pension program. Objective Develop profitable business for the Bank's Commercial Card division through direct sales and ongoing relationship management of its ePurchasing Solutions Commercial Card platform to private and public sector organizations throughout the U.S. with annual revenues greater than $100 million. Duties ?Prospect and close profitable new business and manage year-over-year growth of existing portfolio through a client centric, consultative problem solving approach. ?Improve brand recognition of Bank's platform in the U.S. ?Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive threats in a rapidly evolving industry. ?Analyze financial statements to identify opportunities for positioning/proposal of commercial card solutions. ?Draft complex proposals and presentations under tight deadlines, recommend pricing, negotiate contracts, develop financial models and coordinate deal team to implement programs with client organizations. ?Work closely in partnership with Capital Markets and their sister Bank Relationship Managers to leverage existing client relationships in cross selling the ePurchasing Solutions suite. ?Participate in industry conferences to generate new leads and promote Banks platform.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications 3-5 years corporate sales and relationship management experience, from initial prospecting through closing and contract negotiations, with proven results Track record in calling at CFO, Treasurer and Controller levels Ability to interpret corporate financial statements Experience creating Excel-based financial models relating to time value of money and discounted cash flow scenarios helpful Exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills Superior organization and planning skills; ability to meet deadlines Willingness to travel 25%+ Ability to identify problems and deliver creative solutions High proficiency using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint to create professional proposals, financial models, graphs and presentations Must possess a professional appearance, superior motivation and enthusiasm, tenacious but tactful selling/closing skills, and be a strong negotiator Bachelors degree in Business related discipline Preferred attributes Prior commercial card program experience Experience in purchasing/supply chain management and B2B technology platforms (e.g. Oracle, Ariba, SAP) Prior commercial banking experience (i.e. cash management, lending, relationship management) Experience in leading deal teams. 5+ years corporate sales & relationship management experience calling at CFO, Treasurer, Controller level Experience working with Visa and/or Mastercard products and solutions Bachelor or MBA degree a preference
