VP, Process Engineering

Vice President, Process EngineeringThis position leads teams of 2–20 members in documenting and analyzing current business processes, identifying improvement opportunities and developing solutions that yield demonstrable results, using FASTER, Countrywide Financial Corporation’s proprietary project management methodology.Primary Responsibilities Include:

Establishing appropriate performance metrics.

Facilitating solution-oriented meetings with executive attendees.

Structuring projects holistically/strategically with minimal direction from management.

Developing strong relationships with Countrywide Financial Corporation’s (CFC) various business units, to mobilize resources and enlist support, even without direct line authority.

Developing a broad understanding of CFC’s businesses and strategies.

Maintaining the high degree of quality and rapport that has been created with the FASTER program.

Contributing to building the group’s infrastructure and mentoring junior associates.A successful candidate will have:

Undergraduate degree.

Extensive relevant experience in a consulting, business process management or project management role.

Experience with BPR, Six Sigma, Method/1, etc.

Strong quantitative and integrative analytical skills.

Resourceful and innovative problem solver able to create structure where none exists.

Proven ability to develop practical and business operational process solutions that are scalable and support aggressive business goals.

Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.The ideal candidate may also possess:

MBA.

3-7 years of practical experience in a formal project management and business process management and reengineering discipline.

Experience with financial services and banking systems.
