Responsible for the development and execution of communication plans which drive key messages, positioning, and branding. Direct staff accountable for all communications as well as marketing related activities.
Job Function & Responsibilities:
Identify, coordinate and conduct competitive industry intelligence focused on new products/markets and changes in the marketplace. Strong understanding of consumer market research trends; able to design studies and incorporate findings into program execution.Integrate advertising, creative services, broadcast, sales promotion, public relations, community outreach, direct mail, event marketing, trade shows, etc., into a comprehensive marketing program.
Work with senior management to craft and execute new communication initiatives, both internal and external, that enhance and leverage key business initiatives and goals.Create, launch and track new marketing programs for consumers focused on diversification of lead sources/channels.
Develop and manage marketing budget.
Direct and shepherd employer and employee branding in alignment with the Company's strategic direction. Support all marketing related-activities company-wide to ensure a successful brand differentiator internally and externally.Develop, maintain and enforce marketing and sales operational policies and procedures for the retail sales teams.
Develop measures and metrics to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the organization's marketing efforts.
Provide financial reporting on marketing projects, activities and plans targeted to business results.Monitor the Company's industry presence, pricing, products and market strategies - enabling the Company to maintain a competitive advantage and operating effectiveness.
Implement a strong lead generation focus to drive sales and profitable growth, by recognizing revenue potential in specific business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in business-related field or equivalent experience is required. Master's degree preferred.Experience/Training: Must have 12-15 years experience in marketing and internal and external communications, including media relations.Must have 5-6 years experience of progressive levels of managing the function, within Retail Mortgage Banking. Those with comparable industry environment (i.e., Consumer Finance and Banking, etc.) experience may possibly be considered. Knowledge of the mortgage industry's history and growth patterns is imperative.
