Candidate will be responsible for performing quality control of all closing packages for accuracy and content.DUTIES
1.Due Diligence Agent audits the closing package to confirm the execution of the closing documents, and that all required documents are in the file. This includes review of notes, deeds, and riders.
2.Position confirms accuracy of documents in names, address, legal, payment dates, etc. from documents in the file.
3.Verify that appropriate credits and all escrow information and state required forms are present and correct.
4.Review HUD-1 settlement statement for compliance.
5.Evaluate and elevate post closing issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be detailed oriented
Two years mortgage processing experience
Ability to proofread and correct errors
Ability to clearly relay information, both oral and written, to others
Ability to perform functions, i.e., E-Mail, Microsoft Word and Internet, sending and retrieving electronic documents
Ability to meet deadlines
Analyze date and take appropriate action and minimal supervision
Ability to keep abreast of changing guidelines, requirements, etc.
Excellent math and analytical skills
Title and Closing knowledge
Excellent communication and organizational skills required
Perform other duties as required
