Underwriter - Bethesda, Maryland Location

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist retail bank personnel in understanding and promoting cash management services; working in conjunction with Business Banking Officers to promote the cash management program.
Contact customers in person or via telephone in order to develop new cash management business.
Meet periodically with existing customers to ensure to ensure servicing of accounts and to expand existing Bank relationships.
Prepare sales presentations, explaining services offered and recommending services which would be of value to the customer.
Assist in the proper implementation of cash management services with the complete documentation.
Timely preparation of and other periodic reports.
Maintain professional demeanor and promote cooperative interaction with managers and staff of the entire bank which you would interact.REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of one to two year's experience in sales of banking services. Commercial sales experience preferred.
Strong experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to interact professionally with all levels if staff and management.
College course work or equivalent work related experience required, College degree preferred.
