We are assisting our client, a prominent Chicago fund manager, in their search for a Trading Operations Representative. This role's main responsibility will be reconciling the Depository Trust Company's and Prime broker trade confirmations. The appropriate candidate will then be given the task of resolving any trade discrepancies. This is a great opportunity to experience trade settlement from many different department's views. The position will have exposure to many functional areas that deal with trade settlement, such as the Traders, Operations Managers, and Mutual Fund Analysts.

REQUIREMENTS


The successful candidate will have:
3+ years of experience reconciling and settling trades
Intimate knowledge of The Depository Trust Company (DTC)
A bachelor's degree in Business or related field
A working knowledge of trade settlement systems (MacGregor is preferred)
Exposure to various trade communication processes, such as SWIFT
Excellent customer service skills
