Essential Duties:Manages the staff and activities involved in the preparation of automobile titles, to include on-site visits at various financial institutions to monitor workflow, maintain work schedules, resolve quality related issues, and oversee all personnel related issues.
Oversees the title activities including order entry, preparation of documents, examination of title search reports and clearance of title issues, to ensure work is completed accurately and timely, charges are correctly posted and records are maintained according to contract requirements.
Develops and maintains competitive title fee schedules and ensures the accurate and timely billing of fees and related costs to clients.
Develops and implements procedures and controls to assess the quality of work and implement corrective measures as needed.
Develops new title agent partnerships with clients by utilizing all opportunities to promote and encourage repeat business and referrals.
Ensures all title personnel attend required meetings/educational courses and are in compliance with all applicable regulations as well as policies and procedures set by SWBC and the clients.
Oversees the processing and auditing of title information registered through TX DOT.
Provides management with reports reflecting productivity, service levels and title status.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum RequirementsMust have at least 5 years experience in management, preferably in the retail auto title agency industry. Management experience in other financial services sectors such as banking or insurance may qualify as well.
Experience perfecting liens with TXDOT, credit unions or auto dealerships and county tax offices.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Risk Management or related field is preferred.
Ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships within SWBC, and with industry carriers and clients.
Complies with all policies, procedures, laws and regulations which have an impact on agency operations and service standards.
Superior interpersonal, organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership ability.
Extensive marketing and operational experience.
Bilingual is a plus.
Ability to travel locally and nationally by car and airplane for extended periods of time.
