JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain solid knowledge of ViewPoint Bank products and services.
Provide excellent member service including making eye contact, smiling, acknowledging members who might be waiting in line and using the members name at all times.
Focusing on every opportunity to ensure that our members account needs have been met and refers members to the appropriate department when members can benefit from additional products and services.
Performing paying and receiving teller functions. These transactions would include processing deposits, withdrawals, posting to general ledger accounts, cashing negotiable items, processing loan payments, bonds, money orders, cashiers checks, and traveler's checks.
Maintaining required level of accuracy on all teller transactions.
Follows all security procedures, maintains standards in handling a cash drawer and balancing. Completes all regulatory forms in an accurate and timely manner.
Ability to multi-task and be able to transition back and forth from a drive-thru teller position to a lobby teller position.
Demonstrates commitment to the team and sucess of the overall branch.
Presents a professional appearance and demeanor at all times to members and co-workers. REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED.
6 - 12 months of previous cash handling experience required.
Previous ten-key experience a must.
Effective communication and member service skills.
Experience in handling heavy member/customer contact.
Must have the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks at one time and be detail oriented.
Must be professional in appearance and conduct.
