REQUIREMENTS
Summary:
Processes all transactions presented at teller window, balances window daily and refers bank products and services in support of customer’s needs and Financial Center sales plan. Builds the relationship between the customer and R-G Crown Bank.

Responsibilities:
Processes volume transactions accurately and efficiently;
Balances teller cash drawer and safeguards cash;
Assists with vault cash and dual control;
Assists in preparing Financial Center/work reports;
May balance Financial Center general ledger;
May be responsible for handling the ATM and functions such as handling deposits, loading cash, and balancing the machine;
Observes all security/internal controls and protects the facility against criminal or fraudulent operations;
Assist customers with inquiries and responds or refers calls to appropriate areas;
Refers bank products and services to customers;
Performs safe deposit custodial functions as needed;
Answers incoming calls, makes external courtesy calls;
Performs other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall operation and profitability of the financial center.

Essential skills and experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
At least 6 months of cash handling in a customer service/retail environment;
Basic computer skills.

Preferred skills and experience:
Previous banking experience as a Teller or in a related department;
Has met sales goals in a retail or banking environment;
Attention to detail;
Ability to meet and greet the public in a professional manner
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.
