> Job Summary:

> Supports Providentâ??s Strategic Plan and Relationship Sales Culture by responding to customer inquiries regarding commercial deposits, retail deposit and loan accounts in a professional and efficient manner to enable department service levels to be met or exceeded

> Maintains a record of account numbers and type of incoming customer calls Job Requirements
Education(ED), Experience(EX), and Knowledge/Abilities (K/A), required for competent performance in the job:

ED High School Diploma.
EX One (1) to Two years of customer service experience.
One (1) to Two (2) years call center experience and/or banking experience, preferred.
K/A Thorough understanding of all retail and commercial deposit products and services including consumer loan products.
K/A Knowledge of Voice Response Unit (VRU)
K/A Thorough knowledge of account operational and departmental procedures.
K/A Working knowledge of personal computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database software and calculator.
K/A Strong oral communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
K/A Strong ability to listen patiently and attentively to customer inquiries, issues and complaints.
K/A Strong ability to handle irate customers effectively and promote customer goodwill.
K/A Ability to work with minimum supervision.
K/A Ability to professionally represent the Bank.
K/A Ability to refer/cross sell appropriate bank services and/or services.
