Full Job Title: Technical Services Specialist 4 Skills Management Title Technical AdministrationJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Commercial Airplanes (BCA)Job Description: Project Manager for CAS Simulator Update Services responsible for all aspects of individual update projects. The position is typically assigned to manage, coordinate, and is responsible for the technical aspects of a project or series of projects. The position is responsible to: assist defining requirements; fully develop an integrated work statement; ensure identification of all interfaces; assist in the development of an integrated schedule; identify risks and mitigation plans; coordinate design and progress reviews; prepare modification installation plan; identify resource requirements; manage the modification program to completion; and support site activities as required to ensure successful integration and acceptance of updates. Competencies Candidate must have proven abilities for leading projects and people and a passion for the training simulator industry. Understanding of methods relating to qualification of training simulators, simulator design, snag clearance, simulator data package design and modification, customer requirements analysis and international and domestic regulatory standards required. Working knowledge of multiple simulator manufacturers design philosophies, strong Boeing aircraft knowledge and understanding of configuration control methods important. Candidate must be flexible and able to handle a dynamic environment where customer requirements and schedules change frequently.Notes: Typically a minimum of 20 years simulator maintenance and site management experience. In depth knowledge of aircraft and airplane design products required. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to assemble and lead integration teams (at multiple levels) are essential. This position requires a moderate amount of travel.
