Tax Specialist - Level 3 Skills Management Title Taxes

Job Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Boeing World HeadquartersJob Description: The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of federal and state tax filings, including partnerships & trusts and reports to the Tax Manager. He/she will support and prepare the monthly tax provision to be included in the financial reporting package as well as the deferred tax analysis, including the preparation of the deferred tax footnote for the financial statements to comply with FAS 109. The candidate will respond to requests for information from customers, tax authorities, affiliated companies, and other company personnel as required as well as maintain portfolio tax information. The candidate will assist in federal and state tax research as well as other special projects. Competencies The candidate must have an excellent knowledge of federal & state tax compliance requirements. Leasing experience is a plus. Candidate must be flexible, yet focused, and be able to effectively prioritize projects to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills are necessary, both oral and written. Excellent analytical skills are a must.Notes: The position requires a person with a can do attitude, who thrives in a fast paced environment.
