The LA office of PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking a Director for our Financial Services Tax practice. This position involves advising our banking clients on the U.S. tax implications of their domestic operations to obtain an optimal tax minimization strategy. Directors have an opportunity to network extensively with existing and prospective clients, to assume a high degree of responsibility and exposure within the firm, as well as the opportunity to concentrate efforts on corporate tax consulting and tax planning issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
B.S. required, MS Tax preferred. CPA or Member of the Bar required.Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a CPA (or Member of the Bar) with at least 8 - 12 years tax experience, including one year experience working with banking/mortgage banking clients. They will have a strong technical tax background, especially in preparing and reviewing Forms 1120, with an understanding of FAS 109. Recent public accounting experience a plus, as well as at least one year staff management experience. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills due to the high level of direct
client interaction.
