Tax Analyst
The University of Minnesota Tax Department provides timely professional tax
services throughout the University system. We currently seek a Tax Analyst to counsel and give advice on critical tax areas, contribute to the development and implementation of tax policies, and consult with management to identify issues that negatively impact the tax compliance risks of the University. The Analyst will also educate administrators about tax compliance regulations and serve on various committees. Periodic travel is required.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or MBA or JD, 3 years of tax-related experience, knowledge of federal tax laws and tax research skills. Preferred candidates will have experience performing tax work in a large, complex organization, CPA certification and knowledge of local sales tax laws.
