TRUST OPERATIONS OFFICER

West Palm Beach based community bank with a reputation of integrity and true, personalized service has a career opportunity in its Palm Beach Gardens, FL Trust Department location for an experienced Trust Operations Officer. You will interact with our high-wealth clients in an atmosphere of trust and professionalism.

Trust Operations Officer duties include:
•Implements plans, policies and procedures that affect the trust department operations.
•Serves as primary Trust Department liaison with BSA/AML officer and Financial Investigative Unit (FIU) for all trust-related BSA/AML activities.
•Ensures that trust operations are in continual compliance with the bank’s BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC Policies.
•Directs preparation of financial reports for management use.
•Maintains knowledge base of legislation and regulations that affect the financial institution’s trust operations.
•Coordinates the distribution of accurate tax reporting to tax preparers and tracks completion of client tax returns.
•Directs and manages daily activities of trust operations staff. Responsible for staff performance feedback and reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
Our requirements for consideration are:

•Bachelors degree in finance or related field or equivalent experience.
•Minimum five years trust operations or administrative experience or CTFA designation.
•Knowledge of fiduciary taxation.
•Familiarization with trust accounting systems
•Computer literacy: Word and Excel
•Polished, professional demeanor
•Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate detailed information to external vendors and to staff.
•Demonstrated supervisory skills
•Well developed customer service skills.
