Supplier Performance Consultant

PURPOSE/SCOPE Direct, coordinate and perform supplier performance management and contract administration duties through cooperative effort with Sourcing Consultants, internal business units and suppliers. Identify and present opportunities for re-engineering and process improvements within client business unit operational areas. Develop high quality supplier performance management solutions to support achievement of business unit objectives. KEY ATTRIBUTES 1. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Serve as supplier performance consultant and SS&P reference point to internal Marketing Services organizations. 2. Meet with key Marketing Services clients to review supplier management practices, problem solving techniques, and methods for increasing efficiencies and streamlining supplier management processes. 3. Collaborate with Marketing Services contacts to identify critical suppliers utilizing Critical Supplier Rating techniques. 4. Work with Marketing Services to develop criteria for monitoring Critical Supplier s performance and effectiveness. 5. Manage contract administration activities of client s supplier agreements utilizing SPM Checklist as the guideline of record. 6. Develop action plans, communication and training strategies, and policies and procedures for each project as required. 7. Provide SS&P technology and process training to Support Groups, customers and Business Unit system users across RFG. 8. Proactively drive process, support and leverage integration efforts with RFC. 9. Present a professional image consistent with role as business process consultant. 10. Mentor, support and guide sourcing teammates to facilitate both professional growth of SS&P associates, and achievement of functional objectives. 11. Participate in project management exercises, program development efforts, process enhancement initiatives, and compliance management efforts intended to facilitate achievement of objectives. 12. Support SS&P systems configuration enhancement, workflow design, data base accuracy, and system expansion efforts intended to maximize the return of the software functionality on a company wide basis. 13. Respond in a timely manner to requests for assistance related to supplier performance management processes. 14. Plan and manage Enterprise procurement programs, driving internal compliance with contracted suppliers.Job Requirements

Must have an understanding of the Business needs and requirements for procured goods and services JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. College degree required. 2. Minimum 3-5 years experience in sourcing or procurement SKILLS 1. Individual must be capable of working closely with customers and suppliers. 2. Individual must have effective planning and project management skills. 3. Individual must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively. 4. Individual must have the ability to lead projects and work as facilitator among multi-business units. 5. Individual must be able to negotiate effectively with customers, support units and suppliers. 6. Individual must have excellent written and communication skills. 7. Individual must have the ability to work independently. 8. Individual must have the ability to assess future needs and develop action plans for leveraging supplier s strengths within the organization.
