Supervisory, Loan Investor Accounting

Responsible for managing the loan servicing area and the mortgage loan servicing system (SBO) for loan activities.

Directs staff of servicing / investor reporting accountants

Transition current loan servicing accounting responsibilities from the Correspondent Mortgage LOB to Accounting

Build process improvements with loan servicing accounting!


Create reconciliation tool to reconcile servicer remittance data to loan servicing system data.

Act as liaison between Correspondent Mortgage and Accounting

Act as bank's contact with outside mortgage servicers
REQUIREMENTS


Working knowledge of loan servicing/ Investor reporting operations

Degreed accountant (CPA Preferred)

System Experience (Loan system and general office systems, such as Excel) required

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Management experience - team restructuring/ building experience

Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA preferred

10-15 years of progressive experience in a Bank or Mortgage Banking environment

Proficient in Excel, Access, and Word
