Internal Management Consultant
Our client is a major NYC international financial institution seeking several individuals for its highly regarded Internal Management Consulting function. The Internal Management Consulting group reports to The Sr VP Planning and provides strategy oriented world-wide Consulting service. This is a permanent position. International and domestic travel is limited to 20%. Candidates for the position will have an MBA from a top university as well as outstanding analytical skills including the ability to conduct meetings for senior staff and prepare reports with recommendations. Assignments will vary and are likely to encompass many aspects but the emphasis is on strategic planning and finance Other responsibilities include due diligence, change management, business review, project management, global purchasing studies etc,. Consultants frequently are given the opportunity to move into a line management role after 2-3 years. Recent strategic planning experience with a major corporation is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
An MBA from a top institution, 2 years + experience after MBA and a minimum of 8 -15 years experience in total. Candidates should have some experience with large firms. Consulting background in any industry is a major plus. Experience with Business Case management is required.
