Sr WIM Business Analyst

Senior Consulting Role for a WIM industry expert with a minimum of 6 years operations or systems experience related to hedge fund businesses including hedge funds of funds, prime brokerage and hedge fund administration. Prior consulting experience is not required.Responsibilities:Working with hedge fund businesses and related service providers such as prime brokers, fund administrators and middle office outsourcing providers to help establish new, or to improve existing, alternative investment businesses and products.Requirements:Minimum 6 years experience in hedge fund middle or back office operations or related systems. Working knowledge of applications related to functions such as trading/order management, settlement/clearance, portfolio accounting, performance measurement and client reporting. Must also have a bachelors in Finance or Economics from a Tier 1 University as well as an MBA, or 50% course work completed in an MBA program (please address the % of course work completed clearly in your initial cover letter with your application).Background:Experience gathered through working for a hedge fund, hedge fund of funds, hedge fund related structured products group, prime broker, hedge fund administrator or middle office outsourcing provider. Individuals with strong OTC derivatives operations, systems or finance (specifically valuations or margin) experience from a major broker dealer will also be considered. Absolutely no career consultants please.Additional Requirements:Willingness to work very long hours when deadlines dictate the need. Willingness to travel internationally (primarily Europe) when required. Though much of the teams work is done in NYC, all consultants must have the ability to accommodate a travel schedule as the client requires, Monday through Friday.
