Intermediate Income Tax AccountantOur client is a progressive utility company located in the Voorhees, NJ area. For candidates in the Philadelphia area, they are located right next to a PATCO station for easy accessibility to and from the City of Brotherly Love. They have recently moved to a new state of the art facility and have brought their accounting and finance team in house.
Our client is searching for experienced Income Tax Accountants to join their fast growing team. These positions have been created due to expansion within the organization and they are looking for a top-notch individual to grow with them. Responsible for assisting Senior Income Tax Accountants with all income tax matters of a business region including tax provisions, footnotes, compliance, and audits. Participate in the identification and implementation of key tax saving and process improvements. Assist the senior with analyzing tax basis balance sheets and income tax accounts to ensure reporting accuracy. Assist in the preparation of U.S. federal and state income tax returns and the preparation of quarterly reconciliations for taxes payable and deferred tax.

REQUIREMENTS
Background in income tax accounting, compliance, and related research.
Prepare the U.S. federal and state income tax returns, estimated payments and extensions.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly reconciliations for taxes payable and deferred tax.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3 years experience in Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting.
Utility industry experience is desirable.
CPA or CMA certification.
