Sr. Operations Specialist - Internet

Imperial Capital Bank, a dynamic, FDIC-Insured financial institution, has an immediate opening for a Senior Operations Specialist - Internet!

Under limited supervision, manages operational functions and responsibilities for the internet branch, ensuring compliance with uniform policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

•Review and Approve Application process.
•Approve daily transactions.
•Manage emails and incoming customer calls to ensure timely and appropriate customer service.
•Approve and Process Exceptions (Non-posts, overdrafts and stop payments) within assigned limits.
•Manage Dormant/Inactive process.
•Large Item review.
•General Ledger review.
•New Account callback.
•Reg CC callback.
•Stop payment callback.
•Daily Report review.
•Monthly Branch Certifications.
•Responsible for implementing and maintaining operational procedures to meet company and federal/state guidelines.
•Responsible for training internet branch associates.
•Branch compliance (signage, disclosures, security, BSA).
•Meet assigned sales goals.
•Back-up New Accounts.
•Recommend changes/improvements to Bank Operations Procedures.
•Supervise Internet associates, making recommendations for hire, promotions, counsel to separation of employment.

REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in branch operations.
•Minimum of 1 year of experience in management.
•Familiarity with regulatory compliance issues.
•Good written and oral communication skills.
•Good working knowledge of MSWord and Excel.
•Competency in basic math skills.
•Good working knowledge of general ledger balancing.
•Metavante experience desired, but not required.
