This is a Regional position providing financial and operational analysis for Capital in support of business unit decision making while looking for risks and opportunities.Fleet Management:
Responsibilities include maintaining Vehicle Use policy and assisting the areas in understanding where they fall outside that policy and how to rectify any issues. Also includes general maintenance reporting and fleet activity analysis. Requires oversight of general Fuel and Repair and Maintenance accounts / history / trend for budget and forecast support. Acts as a conduit between Region and Division and has direct relationship with local vendors.Plant Security and Cable Piracy:
Responsibilities include the management and oversight of internal auditor activities and performance. Coordinates their activities in conjunction with Marketing.Oversight of Master Hub:
Responsibilities include managing inventory for Headend work, preparing DCA forms for all equipment transfers to other Regions/Divisions, managing outdated equipment from housing to disposition (Upgrade and CPE gear), managing supply and demand of actual CPE inventory. Also requires compliance with audit requirements and general company policies and procedures.Oversight of Technical:
Responsibilities include an understanding of billing system activity and knowledge of how the billing system works as well as how journal entries are booked using centralized reports. Requires in depth understanding of corporate capitalization policies, manpower justifications, and contractor rates / time to perform activities. Oversight of budgets, forecast, and monthly variance reporting.Oversight of Engineering Department:
Responsibilities include partnering with the Vice President of Engineering to assist in managing the budget of 25FTEs (increasing when headend management transfers to Region), including an in depth knowledge of capitalization for Engineering.Oversight of CPE Operations:
Responsibilities include implementation and reporting of CPE policies and procedures for Field Sales, Contractors, Warehouses, Front Counters, Security and Care across both regions. In depth billing system knowledge required. Includes CPE forecasting and budgeting.Oversight of Regional Capital:
Responsibilities include supporting the Region's capital spending including: construction, tap-off, CPE and facilities. Includes preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and monthly financials. Supports monthly reviews with both Regional and Division leadership. Maintains compliance with audit guidelines. Manages capital under three methodologies: Encumbrance, Accrual, and Cash.Inventory Mgmt:
Responsibilities will include: in depth knowledge of company policies, procedures and audit guidelines and assisting regions in implementation; review of inventory balances by warehouse by area by category to understand best practices and risk / opportunity; prepare and review monthly reports for division to understand inventory balances and associated metrics; support regional initiatives to add or consolidate warehouses (training, implementation); provide analysis to Finance Teams (Division and Regional) which will support spend activity for inventory driven projects (i.e. Tap Off, Plant Maintenance). Conduit between area/region offices and division for all reporting.Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is needed or the recognized equivalent in work experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Seasoned professional with 5-7 years of related experience.
Advance Excel spreadsheet application skills.
