Position is full time 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.



As a Senior Lead Operations Specialist in Bulk Purchases, you will be responsible for the certification of all purchased portfolios flowing through the Bulk Acquisition process. Communication with external purchasing areas and/or 3rd party institutions will be frequent and should be handled in a professional manner. Among the processes you will be expected to monitor are legal review/file intake and file organization. Detailed reporting from every stage of the process will be mandatory. The ideal candidate will have very strong spreadsheet skills. You will serve as escalation point for management (internal or external) should any situation/question arise. May train other employees and/or perform duties of team lead as appropriate. You will be responsible for the successful review, intake, reporting and acceptance/denial of multiple acquisitions throughout the year. Could involve working multiple acquisitions simultaneously.



Your duties may include:Working with purchasing agents to prepare for arriving portfolios Working with department management on staffing proposals for intake process Developing detailed reporting for external and internal tracking purposes Make recommendations that may impact the acquisition decision process

Review documentation, set up appropriate exceptions and report these errors

Store all files pending acceptance in an orderly fashion to avoid undue delays

Act as an acquisition custodian until files have been accepted and purchased

Interact extensively with Internal/External customers to identify, research and resolve complex problems

Identify customer needs, offer alternatives, make recommendations to resolve issues based on balance of customer service and risk to organization








REQUIREMENTS


3 - 4 years experience of banking, consumer lending, and or customer service experience is desired.

Demonstrates usage of and generally exceeds customer service guidelines.

In depth knowledge of loan servicing internal processes.

Demonstrates strong customer service skills.

Demonstrates strong Excel/spreadsheet skills.

Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.

Demonstrated strong skills in negotiation and communication by sustained high quality decision making.

Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
