Sr. Financial Planning Analyst

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to business unit managers (including ROI, NPV, etc)
Responsible for coordinating and analyzing cost center and Canadian subsidiary budgets and forecasts
Aid system design, implementation and training of new planning software
Aid development of line of business contribution measurement systems detailing profitability of different business units
Assist manager of financial planning to meet executive management reporting commitments and expectations
Coordinate & complete various ad-hoc assignments including valuation analysis
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
5+ years experience in an analytical position/3+ years experience in analytical position plus MBA
Expert knowledge of Excel a must.
Experience in financial planning and analysis.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Organized, self-motivated, ability to multi-task and work independently
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to independently work with and present to executive management.
Must have the ability to be detail oriented while working in a fast paced environment.
Ability to effectively work with all areas of the company.

PLUS FACTORS:
' Valuation/merger and acquisition experience
' Knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
' SAP & BW experience.
' Manufacturing background.
' Previous experience with International currency exchange.
